Co-founder of the Shiatsu College UK and author of the best selling 'Shiatsu Theory and Practice' - widely respected as one of the foremost Shiatsu text books in the world. As well as working with Shiatsu, Carola is also an acupuncturist, well known for her ability to express the deepest aspects of Chinese medicine in an easy to understand way

Diego Sanchez  

Diego Sanchez trained extensively with Pauline Sasaki and directed a documentary film on her work. He specialises in working in hospitals with Shiatsu and has been practising the integration of the Meridian and Chakra systems for 20 years.  He lives in Uruguay and teaches internationally

Antigoni Tsegeli 

Practising Shiatsu and Qigong for more than 20 years, Antigoni is currently the President of the Hellenic Shiatsu Society. Since 2014 she’s been exploring Focusing. Here she’ll be introducing Focusing meta-skills for use in Shiatsu sessions, both face-to-face and with distant healing: ’The Body knows, the Soul listens, the Spirit lives’

Galit Shaviv 

Galit has over 25 years experience of treating pregnant women with Shiatsu and working in labour rooms. She is passionate about the importance of Shiatsu therapists working in ways that keep them well - able to interact with the energy field in supportive healthy ways - and would like to share her insights

Dr Patrizia Stefanini 

Patrizia is director of the ESI Milan and Firenze, founder of 'Hado Shiatsu' and has a PhD in quantum physics. She has collaborated with many leading scientists in the quest to understand Shiatsu scientifically. Patrizia is a well known international Shiatsu teacher who has taught throughout Europe and in the USA

Suzanne Yates is founder and principal teacher at Wellmother in Bristol. It offers a holistic approach based on supportive touch, for women, babies and families preparing for pregnancy, during the maternity period and beyond. One of her specialities is working with the Extraordinary Vessels

The SRN is the place to go to for advice on how to create evidence for Shiatsu, and how you can participate

Nicola Ley 

Nicola first discovered Shiatsu in Tokyo - she returned to the UK to help found the Shiatsu College UK with Cliff, Carola and Paul Lundberg. Nicola loves to share Qigong and her knowledge of Quantum Shiatsu in her 'Light Body' work - developed from her work with Pauline Sasaki

Michel Odoul   

Michel Odoul began studying Shiatsu and eastern psychology in 1978. As well as being a Shiatsu teacher he's also an 'energetic psychologist' and consultant. He's the founder of the French Institute of Shiatsu and 'Psychologie Corporelle Appliquee' and author of the book, 'Show me where it hurts and I will tell you why'

Cliff Andrews   

Cliff was apprenticed by Pauline Sasaki in 1986, co-founded the Shiatsu College UK and taught internationally for 30 years. He founded the New Energy Work project in 1999 and has pioneered the use of the internet to share the knowledge and skills of Shiatsu to the worldwide community

Margot Rossi is an acupuncturist, Asian medicine practitioner, educator, and movement instructor with more than 30 years of experience. Her passion is helping people cultivate awareness of their physical and energetic bodies to move beyond perceived constraints

Rita Griesche

Founder of MINDFUL TOUCH EDUCATION MTEd and The Mindful Touch in School Program,
Rita has been practising and teaching Shiatsu for more than 30 years. She is a qualified modern foreign language and arts & crafts teacher who dedicates most of her time now to working with children

Alan Nash  

Alan Nash has run the Dutch School for Classical Shiatsu since 1987. He started in 1972 in the UK with an Indian teacher and carried his training over into foot reflexology and healing

Dr Alice Whieldon     

In 1985 Alice came across both Shiatsu and the work of Charles Berner and has remained a student of both ever since. She co-authored 'Sei-ki: Life in Resonance, The Secret Art of Shiatsu' after studying with Akinobu Kishi for many years. She also practises Mind Clearing and is the author of 'Mind Clearing - the Key to Mindfulness Mastery'
